This must-ride adventure lets you explore Malibu’s rugged mountains on the most premium electric bikes—Ducati, Husqvarna, Specialized, and Haibike. Tackle a thrilling section of the Backbone Trail from Encinal toward Yerba Buena Rd. near Neptune’s, where you’ll find some of the finest singletrack in Malibu. One minute you’re riding through a lush forest; the next, you’re soaring along a mountainside with panoramic views that stretch to the horizon. Your journey includes a pit stop near Sandstone Peak to admire the Malibu Buttes, followed by an exhilarating loop back along canyon-side singletrack with endless ocean views and fast-flow sections with high berms reminiscent of a bike park.
