Trial Introductory flight (Launceston)
Experience the daily life of a pilot as you take control during this light aircraft introductory training flight. After a video briefing, you will head up into the clouds and experience all the sensations of controlling your own aircraft with an expert instructor by your side. Your experience commences with a classroom briefing on the functions of the aircraft's controls, followed by a pre-flight inspection on your training aircraft. As you take a seat inside, your instructor will talk you through the start up, taxiing and take-off, before you lift off into your first flying lesson. During the flight, feel all the thrills and spills of flying an aircraft, and soar up to an exhilarating 1500-2500ft. For your second flight you will be given a pre-flight briefing on how to fly the aircraft straight and level. Then you will be performing the pre-flight inspection before taking to the sky for a 60 minute lesson. Included in package is 1.5 Hours Dual Flight Instruction, Pilots Log Book and an Introductory Theory Book.
Please note: Due to the popularity of this experience, weekend appointments book well in advance. If you have a weekend date in mind please give advance notice.

Description
Your flying lesson commences with a classroom briefing on all you need to know to enable you to control the aircraft on your first lesson. Your instructor will talk you through the start up taxiing and take-off before you take to the skies. The flight is to the west of Launceston airport. During the first 30 minute flight you will have hands on experience in flying the aeroplane. Following the flight there will be opportunity for you to record your flight in your pilot logbook.
Your second and third flights will follow a similar format with the pre-flight briefing and inspection followed by a 60 minute flight. You will have the benefit of your own pilot headset and logbook, which are part of the essential tools required to becoming a pilot. Included in this package is 2.5 hours dual instruction in a light training aircraft, a headset and a Pilot Log Book. Please note: Due to the popularity of this experience, weekend appointments book well in advance. If you have a weekend date in mind please give advance notice. To get the most out of your experience, it is best to stagger your private flying lessons over 2-3 weeks.
