After fuelling up, head to Tākaro Trails HUB and we will have your e-bikes ready and waiting for you to embark on a scenic e-bike ride to explore the many Hawke’s Bay Trails and indulge in a visit to one of our top wineries for a tasting.

After an exhilarating ride, treat yourself to a rejuvenating swim at Ocean Spa to refresh and sooth your muscles. Drop your e-bike back to the team at Tākaro Trails and head in to Ocean Spa. All you need to do is sit back and relax.

Inclusions

·        Breakfast (choice of 3 options) and mocktail at The Bach Café 

·        Four hour e-bike hire from Tākaro Trails (delivered to Ocean Spa and collected on return)

·        E-bike equipment including helmet, lock, pannier bag, and trail map

·       Access to Ocean Spa including all pools, sauna and steam room for the remainder of the day

Bike Ride options: explore Hawke’s Bay by bike – a fun, easy cycle ride to visit to one of the top winery establishments in Hawke’s Bay.

An easy 20km/12 miles (approx. 2 hours cycling) self guided cycling tour along a dedicated cycle pathway beside the Pacific Coast and estuary trails through a wildlife sanctuary to visit an iconic Hawke’s Bay winery. We will have your bike ready to go, give you a briefing and a map so you can navigate your way along the trails to your place of choice. 

Choose your ride from the following options:

1. 22km/13 miles (approx. 1.5-2 hours cycling) Bayview Loop to take in Crab Farm Winery (open Thursdays-Sunday) 
2. 40km/20 miles  (approx. 2.5-3 hours cycling) ride coastal trail to Taradale to visit Mission Estate (open 7 days) and Church Road winery (open 7 days) then return on the Ahuriri Estuary trails.
   

• The cycling is completely flat and gentle, so suitable for all riders with a moderate level of fitness. 
• We will provide you with maps plus Takaro Trails support is available throughout the day should it be required.
  
• Child is 14 years and under and if you are wanting to book e-bikes, must be over 135cm.
