Scuba Diving Cancún

Diving a reef during the night with your headlamp beam as the only ilumination, is an out-of-this-world experience. It allows you to focus on the corals and appreciate their vivid colors and intricate textures with detail. And the best part is getting to see the nighttime creatures come out to play! We'll take you on a night dive in Cancun to the captivating Manchones Reef, located between Cancun and Isla Mujeres.
There you can witness octopuses, lobsters and moray eels glide over their natural habitat. If you're lucky you may watch the natural firework display of bioluminescence too!


ITINERARY:

Check in half an hour prior to departure
1 tank night dive in Cancun departs Thursdays at 6:00 pm.

Go wreck diving in Cancun to discover an out of this world experience


We will take you to General Anaya, a C-58 minesweeper which unfortunately broke in half during hurricane Wilma in 2005 and now lays 85 feet under the surface. It turned out to benefit adventure divers because now they can enter parts of the wreck! During the winter months, the area gets crowded with eagle rays , imagine looking up as you reach the wreck and seeing dozens of them above you!
It's not uncommon to see huge fish lurking in the chambers of the shipwreck too; they are home to all sorts of marine life.
This dive includes two tanks, so after exploring the wreck, your second immersion will be on a coral reef, Grumpin or Punta Negra. Both are 55 feet deep and are home to plenty of tropical fish, turtles, and more marine creatures.


ITINERARY:

Check in half an hour prior to departure.
2 tank Cancun dive to General Anaya, a C-58 minesweeper from World War II.
Your second dive will be on a nearby reef, at a depth of 17 meters (55 feet).
Departs Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 am.

Aquaworld Learn To Dive Discover Scuba. The only way to really witness the beauty of the Cancun Underwater Museum is by scuba diving. Breathtaking underwater sculptures who have made the ocean their home.
Your Learn To Dive experience begins with a class in the pool where you will learn and practice the basics. After this, we will take you to dive at the Cancun Underwater Museum


At this location, there are over 450 statues that were placed on the sea bed over ten years ago. Over the years, algae have formed on the figures, which in turn has promoted the growth of coral reef, so much so, some of the faces are now distorted with brightly colored corals, causing a strange but beautiful effect.

If you dive in Cancun, you can choose between visiting the colorful Manchones Reef or the mysterious Underwater Museum of Art. Both locations are home to hundreds of tropical fish, corals, starfish, turtles, and rays!



Manchones is a beautiful reef located just off the coast of Isla Mujeres, you can see many types of sea life and marine animals in this area as well as the coral reefs that have made Manchones famous.

Onboard the 'Do It All', you and 9 of your friends can visit and explore the amazing Nichupté Lagoon, Punta Cancun and even Punta Nizuc. This light watercraft is suitable for sailing through the lagoon or the Caribbean sea - in it, you can swim, snorkel, and even scuba dive*

The Open Water dive certification will allow you to dive all over the world up to 18 meters. With the referral cert, you can start the theory and confined water modules at your nearest dive center and complete your certification with the open water dives in Cancun.
In just two days you can finish you Open Water certificate while exploring the Caribbean Sea and its many wonders such as reefs, coral walls, underwater museums and an infinity of really impressive marine animals such as rays, turtles , sharks, starfish, manta rays, etc.
Scuba dive in Cancun, Riviera Maya or Cozumel and return home as a certified scuba diver!
If you have already completed 2 of the four dives necessary, select the 1 day option.

Scuba Dive through Cenote Tajma Ha's passages full of stalactites and stalagmites and appear in another cenote called Sugarball, famous for its spectacular light beams producing a fascinating color effect. Our professionally trained and experienced Cavern instructors will lead you and make sure that you get to see the best of the cenote like its halocline, a part where waters of different colors meet but don't mix.
Fun fact: The original explorers to this underwater cave system originally named it Taj Mahal because it reminded them of the beauty of the Indian Temple. However as the word Ha means water in Mayan, it was later changed for authenticity.

After your 2 tank cenote dive, it's time for lunch before we depart for the return to your hotel

Discover them while getting your PADI advanced diver, or SDI Adventure Diver certification. Both will help you expand your knowledge and skills to dive in different environments and scenarios.
This course is a step ahead of Open Water and brings you closer to other more advanced courses as Rescue Diver .
The course includes two mandatory dives (navigation & deep) as well as three elective dives
Elective dives in Cancun: Night, Boat, Search & Recovery, Peak Performance, Naturalist, Fish ID, drift.
The course includes your manual, choose your elective dives, read up on each section and you're ready to dive.

The Open Water certification will allow you to dive all over the world up to 60 feet deep! Choose between the SDI E-learning and PADI e-Book, you can complete the theoretical part online before your arrival in Cancun. In just 3 days you can get the passport for thousands of underwater adventures.
The first day you will have an evaluation with your instructor, followed by the classes in the pool, and then comes the best part ... Diving in the reefs of the Caribbean!
After completing the reservation, you will automatically receive an email with the codes to access the PADI Open Water Cert (PDF) or the SDI Certification online.
Learn to dive in Cancun with the most experience dive center.
