Until recently Hobsonville Point was a defence base. Now it's a beautiful peninsula filled with bars, restaurants, coastal walks, playgrounds, and home to Auckland's Catalina Bay Farmers Market. We offer return public ferry rides or private charters that will make your trip to Hobsonville Point that little bit more special!

Time:


A 45-minute to 1-hour cruise each way from Z Pier, Westhaven Marina to Hobsonville Point, and back. Best for:

Long lunches, family day out, dinner and drinks, farmers market. Suitable for everyone!
Schedule:


Go ashore and eat at the many bars and restaurants for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Amenities on the Boat:

Licensed bar, flushing toilet, eftpos, AUX sound system, indoor and outdoor seating. Please wear soft, comfortable, and supportive shoes — no gumboots, penny heels, and work boots.


The Destination:




Wh en it comes to food and drink there is something for everyone at Hobsonville Point, including Little Creatures craft beer brewery, an upmarket cafe and bistro with Italian flare, fish, and chips, southeast Asian cuisine, and more. During the Catalina Bay Farmers Market (Friday to Sunday 8.30am to 2pm), you'll find anything from local produce, artisanal baked goods, and ready-to-go treats straight off the boat. Don't feel like eating? Take a walk along the Hobsonville/Onekiritea Coastal Walkway and admire the views instead!
