Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) Bowmanstead

The best introduction to paddleboarding! Under the expert guidance of our professional, qualified instructors, our Introduction to Paddleboarding session is the perfect way for complete novices, or those with a little experience, to paddleboard safely and progress fast. During this session we will make sure that you have all the knowledge you need to be safe and comfortable. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to manoeuvre your board effectively, learn new skills and have loads of fun along the way. If it 'floats your boat' we can play games, which is a fantastic way to practice your skills (while competing with yourself and everyone else in your group), or we can focus on skills, or aim to journey as much as possible.

There is no better way to admire the incredible Lake District sunset, as the soft glow of the waning sun light floods the top of the fells, than being on the water.

In this incredible Sunset SUP session we will get on the water 1 hour and 30 minutes before sunset (please not that this will not necessarily be the same as the time on the booking page, please check the forecasted sunset time for the day you choose before booking) and we will be off the water 15 minutes after the sun goes down.

Before the sun begins to set we will take a small journey and, if you wish, learn some skills or play some games.
As the sun begins to wane we will settle in to watch from our boards, with a complementary hot chocolate in hand before heading back to shore before it gets completely dark.

This session is suitable for all abilities

Depending on the weather conditions on the day, children may need to share a board with an adult.
