Hadeda Creek is situated on the banks of the Vaal River, nestled in the Vredefort Dome UNESCO Heritage Site, just 15km outside of the popular tourist Free State town of Parys. We offer various outdoor and indoor activities, of which our River Rafting offering is quite unique to the area, offering the best collection of family-friendly rapids from our put-in point through to our take-out point at our camp. This journey is executed to the highest level of safety, adventure, and fun by our trained facilitators, river guides, and staff. These standards have been cultivated over the last 30 years of operation.
Be immersed in nature while spending time rafting, fishing, hiking, and relaxing at our beautiful riverside setting on the Vaal River.

River Rafting
The Vaal River provides plenty of crystal clear water and small rapids all season long. With no experience necessary, rafting on the Vaal River is perfect for novices and families, and is sure to be the highlight of any trip. It’s cool, wet fun for those hot summer days! This package includes a river lunch (Up to 8km)
Duration: Depending on the routes, the river flow and the strength of the rafter :– 12km 3-4 hours / 8km 2-3 hours / 3 & 4km 1-2 hours
Session Times: 8:30am Summer & 9:30am Winter
Clothing suggestions:
swimming costume takkies or strops for river wear peak cap / hat t-shirts and shorts or sarong dry bag / plastic waterproof packet / container sunglasses with straps suntan lotion / sun block please note that in winter it is advisable to take a warm jacket. caps, t-shirts and toggles are available from the bar
