Please note we have 2 of each Mode 2 size bike, and only 1 of the Mode 26.
Mode 26 ideal for guests 140-160cm, Mode 2 M is ideal for those 154-165cm, and Mode 2 L is ideal for any 175-185cm.
An electric bike demands virtually the same skills as when riding a standard bike. Riding an electric bike makes it easier to go further, as less stamina is required. Managing head-winds and hills is much less demanding; they are a great way to extend your cycling distance.
The Mode 2 is a great bike for on-road or off-road use, with the powerful Shimano intuitive mid-drive motor providing plenty of assistance to let you tackle those longer rides and bigger hills.

Get around and explore with assisted speed up to 32 km/h! Maximum range 120 – 140km (weight, hills and head winds reduces range).

Every touch point including the suspension seat post, the saddle and grips were designed with your comfort in mind.

Helmets are provided. We have high vis vests available for you to use and we encourage their use. Please ensure you obey all NZ Road Rules when riding on roads, including riding on the left hand side of the road.

Trips typically depart at 7am (subject to change), and you'll be exploring the shoreline of Lake Whakatipu as the world wakes up. After your 1hr trip there's time for breakfast at our onsite restaurant (not included) before you head out on an e-bike adventure wherever you choose.
All required equipment is provided and shortie wetsuits, spray jackets and life jackets will be available.
We have dry bags for you to take any valuables out on the lake.

Children under 12 must be in a kayak with an adult unless experienced.
