The Kemah Boardwalk is known for its many options of choice restaurants with waterfront views. Travel time from Houston to Kemah Boardwalk is approximately 45 minutes each way.
In route you will have exterior views [Day-light hours only] of Nasa Space Center's Independence Plaza where the Shuttle Independence mockup sits on top of the retired 747 as well as a used Falcon 9 Rocket and stop for photos on request.
