Top End to Red Centre
From never never to the heart, this journey of a lifetime will take you to some of Northern Territory's most iconic and spectacular sights across 7 days and 7 nights, including delicious barbeque dinners under the stars.
Day 1: Adelaide River Cruise, Litchfield and Darwin - Watch the 'Jumping Crocs' from the boat on the iconic Adelaide River Cruise. Stroll and swim in the stunning waterfalls at the picturesque Litchfield National Park. BBQ lunch before driving into Darwin City. Visit the museum and Mindle Beach before sharing our 'last supper' dining at the iconic Darwin Wharf at sunset. Stay at the Darwin Free Spirit Resort. Day 2: Katherine Gorge and Thermal Pools - Head to Katherine after breakfast for the Katherine Gorge walk and tour. Enjoy a picnic lunch before relaxing at Katherine Thermal Springs. Stay at Gorge View Bush Retreat with a tasty BBQ dinner. Day 3: Daly Waters Pub and Mataranka Hot Springs - Travel through Larrimah, visit the iconic Daly Waters Pub for lunch on the way to Mataranka Hot Springs. Relax and soak up the rich minerals in the thermal pools before dining in the Mataranka Homestead Tavern. Day 4: Big Man Walk, Devil's Marbles, Mine and Museum - Travel north to Aileron for the 'Big Man Walk', visit the mysterious Devil's Marbles, picnic lunch at Maryanne Dam, visit Old Timers Mine and Museum before departing for Banka Banka Station for a cooked dinner under the stars in the outback. Day 5: Kings Canyon, West MacDonnell Ranges - 3.5 hour Kings Canyon rim walk through the Lost City and the Garden of Eden. Then travel along the Mereenie Loop road to Ormiston Gorge. After lunch, enjoy a walk through Standley CHasm, visit picturesque Simpsons Gap before arriving in Alice Springs. Dinner at the Alice Springs Brewery and accommodation at Discovery Parks. Day 6: Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Karrke and Kings Canyon - Watch sunrise light up at Kata-Tjuta (the Olgas), then travel to Kings Canyon and enjoy the Karrke Cultural talk. Walk into Kings Canyon Gorge before viewing the spectacular Light Towers installation by Bruce Munroe. BBQ Dinner and accommodation at Kings Canyon Resort. Day 7: Uluru (Ayers Rock) Cultural Centre, Walk and Sunset Viewing - Learn about indigeonous history, art and culture at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Stroll the beautiful Mutujulu Walk at the base of Uluru, then enjoy an Uluru Sunset with nibbles and refreshments. BBQ Dinner and accommodation at Yulara Resort.

Day 1: Uluru Cultural Centre, Walk
and Sunset Viewing -
Explore indigenous history, art, and culture at Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural
Centre. Enjoy the Mutujulu Walk around Uluru's base and watch the sunset with
snacks and drinks. BBQ dinner and stay at Yulara Resort.
Day 2: Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Karrke and
Kings Canyon -
Observe sunrise at Kata-Tjuta (the Olgas), then visit Kings Canyon for the
Karrke Cultural talk. Walk through Kings Canyon Gorge and view the Light Towers
installation by Bruce Munroe. BBQ Dinner and stay at Kings Canyon Resort.
Day 3: Kings Canyon, West MacDonnell
Ranges - Walk the
Kings Canyon rim (3.5 hours) through the Lost City and Garden of Eden. Lunch at
Kings Canyon Resort, then drive the Mereenie Loop to Ormiston Gorge. Walk through
the breathtaking walls of Standley Chasm before dining at Alice Springs Brewery
and stay the night at Discovery Parks.
Day 4: Big Man Walk, Devil's Marbles,
Mine and Museum -
View the sunrise at Anzac Hill and visit the Telegraph Station Historical
Reserve to understand how and why the first Europeans settled in the Red
Centre. Travel north to Aileron for the 'Big Man Walk' and take a photo at
Karlu Karlu (Devil's Marbles). Continue to Tennant Creek for lunch at Maryanne
Dam. Visit the Old Timers Mine and Museum before heading to Banka Banka or
Renner Springs Station for dinner under the stars in the heart of cattle
country.
Day 5: Daly Waters Pub and Mataranka
Hot Springs - Wake
to the sounds of an outback dawn, then head north for lunch at Daly Waters Pub.
Continue to Mataranka and indulge in the mineral-rich thermal pools at the Hot
Springs before dining at Mataranka Homestead Tavern.
Day 6: Katherine Gorge and Thermal
Pools - After
breakfast, head to Katherine for a eye opening boat tour of the Katherine Gorge
and the Cutta Cutta Caves. Have a picnic lunch, unwind at Katherine Thermal
Springs, then spend the night at a nearby caravan park with a BBQ dinner and
drinks.
Day 7: Adelaide River Cruise,
Litchfield and Darwin -
Watch 'Jumping Crocs' on the Iconic Adelaide River Queen boat tour. Enjoy a
stroll and swim at the picturesque Litchfield National Park's waterfalls. Have
a Ploughman’s lunch before heading to Darwin. Explore museums or attractions of
your choosing. End the day with our “Last Supper” on the Darwin Wharf at
sunset. Drop-off at your chosen accommodation. Next-day transfers to the
airport, rail terminal, or around Darwin. What should bring?
