Moonlight Kayak Tour

Come and join our Moonlight Kayak Tour! Enjoy the unique desert, western sunset, while you are floating on the mighty Colorado River.

Our professionally guided Moonlight Kayak Tour is perfect couples, families, or even team building events. Beginners or paddlers with experience are welcome as well. Make sure to have your camera/phone ready to catch desert wildlife and beautiful scenery. We will stop halfway at a beach where you can swim or just soak it all in while we offer healthy snacks and bottled water for all participants.

You can enjoy the stars by the bonfire. A short hike to the historical site of the Black Canyon with a mind-blowing view is also part of the tour. On the way back you will paddle under the moon and the starry sky and have neon lights on your kayaks for a special experience.

We provide all equipment (single or double kayak of your choice), glow sticks, neon lights and headlights as well.

This experience requires a minimum number of participants. If it's cancelled because the minimum isn't met, you'll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

What to bring: Water shoes (no flip-flops!), layered clothing, swimsuit (under clothes), towel(s), water proof case for your cell phone is recommended.

Maximum weight limit is 300lb/person. We don't recommend this activity to anyone with heart condition, back or shoulder problems.

Enjoy an adventure on the moving flat waters of the Colorado river as you travel through Black Canyon. Our tours offer a guide by U.S. National Kayak Champions as you join in on one of the most ‘must do’ experiences of your lifetime.

This tour accommodates all skill levels supplied with top quality stable kayaks with rudders for easy steering.

Permits from the National Parks Service are required for this tour.

As you launch from the historic Hoover Dam you will be guided through Hot Springs, landmarks and surrounding breathtaking canyon walls topping at 900 feet at Emerald Cave, including a complimentary lunch break on a beautiful sandy beach.

Meeting time (pick up) is 6:30 am at Mandalay Bay in the Shuttle & Tour Pick-up area and you're returning at 4:00 pm. (White Ford transit & Kayak trailer) Availability is limited by the National Park Services. Reservation is a MUST in advance.

NOTE: Please consider this, the Hoover Dam adventure is recommended only for physically fit people. We do not recommend this activity to anyone with a heart condition, back problems, shoulder problems or any medical or physical limitation. This tour is pretty physical and requires stamina. This tour is a total of 12 miles of kayaking and 2 miles hiking. (It's NOT a leisure FLOAT) Duration 8 Hours - 12 Miles On The Water + 2 Miles Hiking
