Fishing the deeper reefs off Caloundra up to 15 mile offshore chasing species such as snapper, pearl perch, amberjack, rosy jobfish, tusk fish and more!

On this trip we head over 40km offshore (weather pending) to the Barwon Banks or further depending of the day. We fish ground rarely touched by smaller vessels and you can expect a variety of species to fill the esky. Approx 1 hour to 1.5 hour travel each way

Your 12-hour trip starts early — we typically depart before dawn to make the most of the calm morning conditions and ensure you get maximum fishing time. As the sun rises, we’ll make our way past the shipping channels and out to the deep reef zones that hold big, hard-fighting fish.

Once we’re on location, the sounder lights up with life. You’ll be dropping baits into depths ranging from 60 to 120 metres , where prized species like Snapper, Pearl Perch, Amberjack, Kingfish, Samson Fish, Tuskfish, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, and Trag Jew are known to frequent. Depending on the season, we might also encounter Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, Wahoo, or Sailfish patrolling the outer reefs.
