Botanical Gardens /Mrs Macquarie's Chair
Mrs Macquarie's Road, Sydney NSW 2000 (CBD)
The chair is a sandstone rock ledge that was carved out by convicts in 1810 as a seat for Elizabeth
to enjoy the view of Sydney Harbour. Not much to it really, but the view and photo spot is epic. The
National Orchid Garden in the Botanical Gardens, has stunning flora, blossoms, archways, and
water features.
7. The Rocks – Walk and History or social and visit a few pubs (CBD)
You can wander along laneways, check out the heritage buildings and learn more about the fascinating
history of this area and/or visit a few pubs, which your tour guides have been frequenting since they
were legally allowed to drink and be in a bar at 18 years old! The Glenmore has a roof top bar with amazing views that
you wouldn't know just walking past it for instance.
