The day’s itinerary is completely flexible, as it is your day not ours!


Sample Itinerary
After collecting from your Adelaide CBD or Glenelg accommodation, we embark on a comfortable picturesque journey through the Hills or along the coast.
We start the day at Olivers Taranga vineyards where we get the opportunity to taste the wines in the beautiful cellar door next to the vines that the fruit is sourced from.
We introduce you to the friendly Cellar Door host, who will share the stories of the wines and the history of one of Australia's oldest family run vineyards.
Our next visit is to the Iconic d'Arenberg Cube described as a winery built within a Rubik's Cube, we have the opportunity to taste the wine and learn about the complexities and puzzles of the winemaking process - ( an alternate boutique winery visit can be included if preferred)
Entrance to the Salvador Dali art exhibition within the Cube is also included.
Once we have finished exploring the Five levels of the Cube we sit down for a delicious 2-course lunch at the multi-award winning d'Arry's Verandah restaurant, to dine on some of the finest local and seasonal produce the region has to offer!
After lunch, enjoy a substantial guided tasting of the Hugo Estate* Wines with the passionate and friendly Hugo family and Cellar Door staff.
Sit back relax and end the day amongst the beautiful surroundings or this part of the region in the Tuscany inspired Cellar Door.


*We are more than happy to offer an excellent alternate (boutique family owned) winery if your private group prefers a wider range of alternate Italian varieties to include Whites, Rose and Reds

Alternate itinerary to suit preferred wine styles
Scenic Hills or coastal drive

We start the day by visiting the home of Penfolds, (Magill Estate), where we are taken through an extensive list of their iconic wines - including Australia's most famous wine, Grange.
After a short drive through the beautiful Piccadilly Valley we arrive at Tapanappa winery, where we are expertly hosted through an extensive list of their boutique premium wines.
Next we visit Mount Lofty Ranges Vineyard for a scrumptious 2 course lunch, (Starter and Mains, or Mains and Dessert), with an emphasis on the finest seasonal produce sourced from small farms around the Adelaide Hills.
Our final visit includes the Classic Wine tasting, (most popular wine flight) at the iconic Shaw and Smith winery overlooking their Balhannah vineyard.
The day is rounded off with a drive through Hahndorf, (Australia's oldest German village), and visit to Mount Lofty lookout to savour the views across the Adelaide plains to the coast.

Indulge yourself with a Two day Private Tour to some of the finest boutique wineries, and taste some the best wines the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale have to offer.

Each day we collect from either Adelaide CBD or Glenelg accommodation and enjoy a comfortable journey to either region with expert commentary along the way.

We can tick off some of your bucket list experiences, or leave the itinerary to us, on a relaxed and personalised tour with one of our fully accredited, knowledgeable and friendly guides.

At each winery your guide will introduce you to the friendly Cellar Door host, who will share the stories of the wines and the history of the winery.

You may even get to meet the winemakers themselves, tour behind the scenes and even (subject to availability) taste wine straight from the barrel.

Visit 3 - 4 premium boutique wineries (each day) - (tasting fees may apply depending on the wineries selected by you and / or us!)

The journey back to your accommodation, (approx 1hr each day) will fly by as we take you through picturesque towns, beautiful scenery, (Hills or Coast) and perhaps even a chance to spot some of the local wildlife!

If required we can even include a section of the Adelaide Hills (and Hills winery) en-route making this a Three Region Wine Tour!

This has to be the best way to spend a couple of days discovering Two of Adelaide's premier wine regions!
