The Vine Hopper day ticket is the most cost effective way to experience the Stellenbosch Wine Route. You can decide on what you want to do on the different farms and pay for tastings, tours or activities as you go along. On the Northern Route you could visit the well known Beyerskloof and taste their speciality, Pinotage. Visit Simonsig with it`s fantastic wine, restaurant and views or Warwick, a great place for a picnic. Delheim will spoil you with hospitality and marvelous wine. Remhoogte is the next stop with a relaxing atmosphere before we end the day at L'Avenir with various wine tasting options available

Next, make your way to the historic Rustenberg Estate, one of South Africa’s oldest wineries. Wander through beautifully landscaped gardens before sampling a refined selection of wines in a charming Cape Dutch setting, with standout varietals like Chardonnay and Syrah.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Stellenbosch and transport will be provided to the starting point of the walk. The vineyard trail meanders through beautiful wine farms in the Banhoek valley between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek
While walking this beautiful piece of earth your guide will tell you more about wine making, the indigenous flora and fauna and life on a wine estate in general. During the walk we will visit two wine estates for tastings and a cellar tour before we head to our final lunch stop. For lunch we will have the famous chef’s selection of cheeses, antipasti and charcuterie platters (vegetarian options also available). Sample these local delicacies while enjoying amazing views of the mountains and vineyards of the Banhoek valley. Transportation back to your hotel will be provided.

This tour is always a private tour and a very unique way to experience the fantastic Vineyards and sights of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

During the day we will visit 3 to 4 wine estates, depending on your time and pace. With our 4x4 vehicle we will drive off road up into the vineyards to beautiful vantage points over the Franschhoek, Banghoek and Stellenbosch Valleys respectively. Here you will learn about the area, vines in the vineyard and the history of these settlements before going down to the cellars for a tasting.

Departure time between 9:00 and 9:30. We collect in Stellenbosch for this tour. Tour will end at approximately 17:00

As this is a private tour, you can decide where you would like to have lunch (own account), in the town of Franschhoek or Stellenbosch, or on one of the many wine estates in the region. Join us for an unforgettable experience.

How about going off the beaten track to where most people can’t get to? This adventure wine tour is done with a 4×4 vehicle and we off road up into the Vineyards to some vantage points with beautiful scenery of the different Wineland areas.
