Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre Visit

Experience a deep and moving encounter with Africa’s majestic creatures at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, a sanctuary dedicated to the rescue and care of abandoned, injured, and poisoned wildlife. Your journey begins with a collection from your accommodation, transferring you to this world-class facility where you will join an educational tour led by passionate resident guides. This immersive allows you to get within close range of "ambassador" animals that cannot be released back into the wild, including the Crowned Eagle, Cheetah, and various vulture species. A major highlight is meeting the legendary Stoffel the Honey Badger, whose clever antics and world-famous escape attempts have made him a global icon of animal intelligence. You will gain a profound understanding of the challenges facing South Africa’s wildlife and the heroic efforts being made to rehabilitate and release animals whenever possible. Whether you are witnessing a feeding session or hearing the incredible stories of animals like Stoffel, this visit offers an eye-opening look at conservation that is both heart-warming and educational, concluding with a safe transfer back to your overnight accommodation.
