In the heart of the Lake District a fantastic bushcraft and survival skills experience awaits! Your starting point will be the picturesque Elterwater village and with the guidance of our experienced instructors you'll master everything from fire lighting to shelter building and much, much more. Choose from a full day session or go for the 24 hour experience to really test your survival skills! Either way you're guaranteed an enjoyable and rewarding experience and one that you're sure to remember for years to come!

For the overnight experience we will supply a hot evening meal and mugs of hot chocolate for you to enjoy. Participants for all experiences will need to bring warm and waterproof clothing, a sleeping bag, mat, and packed lunch and drink for the daytime.

24hr Bushcraft Experience

For a truly authentic bushcraft experience not much comes close to beating this 24 hour session in the stunning landscape of the Lake District. After meeting at Elterwater village you'll quickly get off the beaten track and the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District provide the ideal backdrop as you learn the arts of fire lighting and shelter building using only the natural environment. There's also woodland navigation and animal tracking to look forward to as the day progresses, before taking the chance to relax and take in the scenery. Set up your camp for the night by creating a fire and preparing the evening meal, then settle in with a hot chocolate in hand for a night under the stars. The next morning is spent breaking down camp and heading back to Elterwater.
