Surfing Newquay

Surf lessons are available to all abilities, individuals and groups. We deliver our group lessons in the following way.


Level 1 | beginner & entry level | group lessons

- 1/2 day learn to surf adventure, 2 hour lesson with a qualified instructor.

- beach warm up, introduction to surfing, what to expect in the water, beach and ocean safety.
- how to get up on your board and ride a wave to the beach on your first lesson.
- lessons begin in the shallows of the white water.
- all equipment is supplied with your lesson.
All of our instructors are qualified surf coaches & surf life savers. All instructors have a vast knowledge of the local area and will only conduct lessons in surf conditions that are in waist deep water with easy to ride waves in your first lesson.

We boast 40 fun, safe, soft surfboards and intermediate to advanced boards that will help you to learn faster and catch lots of waves.
We deliver lessons to adults, families, couples, groups and children 8yrs old and above.
Our lessons are specifically designed to teach you to surf in a safe, relaxed, fun and friendly environment, this builds further self-confidence and an appreciation for your surroundings. Feeling confident is paramount in the water and drives us forward to greater levels of surfing!

Private Surf lesson | 1 on 1
- 2 hour lesson including all equipment
- tailored to your surfing level and ability. Beginner, Intermediate, Advnaced & Expert levels accepted.
- a fast track lesson to get you up and surfing on your first lesson on green unbroken waves.
- if you’ve surfed before, then we’ll pick up at your current level of surfing and progress to an intermediate, advanced or expert coaching session.
- 2 hour guided surf session on the best waves available on the day in Newquay.
- the aim is to get you surfing well, on your own in the shorted time possible, surfing and catching waves confidently.
- keeping up to date with new techniques and equipment and what works best in which conditions.
- fine tuning your surfing style and perfecting your surf manoeuvres, top to bottom surfing, cutbacks, nose riding etc.
- learning to surf different types of waves, surfing abroad.

Private Surf lesson | 2 on 1


- a private lesson tailored to your needs.
- this lesson is for 2 guests and your own surf coach.
- a fast track lesson designed to get you up and surfing on your first lesson on green unbroken waves. Or, if you already surf, we'll help polish the areas of your surfing you feel you'd like to work on.
- if you’ve surfed before, then we’ll pick up at your current level of surfing and progress to the next level.
- its a 2 hour guided surf session on the best waves available in Newquay on the day.
- our aim is to get you surfing confidently, paddling into waves, independently and with great style, so that you compliment the wave in the true Aloha style.
- keeping up to date with new techniques and equipment.
- fine tuning your surfing style and perfecting your surf manoeuvres, top to bottom turns, cutbacks, nose riding, etc.

Level 4 | Advanced | Expert level
- 2 hour guided surf sessions on the best waves available on the day in Newquay.
