With a 10:00am pick up we start our day off, we delve into the world of fine wines with a visit to Hugh Hamilton Wines, known for its stunning views and exceptional vintages.
As we continue, we'll discover the unique flavours at Wirra Wirra Vineyard, where you have the option to enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting.
Our journey then takes us to Alpha Box & Dice, a boutique winery with a creative twist on traditional winemaking. This is followed by a visit to Mollydooker Winery, another highlight of the region, famed for its robust and flavourful wines.
At 4:15pm we'll conclude the tour with a leisurely drive back to Adelaide, offering a moment to relax and reflect on the day's rich experiences.

Nestled in the undulating landscapes just east of Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills wine region is a cool-climate haven that produces wines of elegance and finesse.
The region’s high-altitude vineyards and varying microclimates contribute to the creation of distinctive cool-climate wines, making it a captivating destination for wine enthusiasts.
9:00 am Pick up from Adelaide city location (or previously agreed location)
To start our day off we will head up to Mount Lofty lookout which gives you a birds eye view over the city of Adelaide.
From here we will stop at Beerenberg and if time allows we can do a stroll along the main street of Hahndorf.

11:30 am we will drop in to Shaw & Smith which is celebrated for its sustainable viticulture and elegant wines.
1:00 pm We can do lunch and tastings at Sidewood Estate where it's a chance to enjoy their exceptional cuisine and wines but remember we MUST book in advance.

3.30 pm Head back to Adelaide

Adelaide is a hub for arts, with numerous festivals and events such as the Adelaide Fringe Festival (which is Australia’s biggest arts festival and is held over February and March). You will find international and local talents performing a huge range of acts from cabaret, musicals, comedy shows etc,
Don't worry, if you're visiting outside of these months, it will still be sure to please. it's diverse culinary scene and vibrant markets add to the city's charm, making it a destination that blends tradition with modernity and culture amongst it all. With choices between sports, festivals, cabaret as well as our specialty all things wine there is something for everyone depending on what time of the year you visit us.

For the historians
Some options that may appeal to you range from Colonel William Light look out who came to Adelaide in1837, to survey the site to decide where the colony should build. A life-size statue of him now stands proud at the top of the hill and is a popular hotspot for visitors to go and learn about the history of the city while gazing out at the spectacular views of Adelaide below.
St Peter’s Cathedral which is a great photo stop, for the sport fanatics Adelaide Oval (and if you’re keen, you could do the roof climb*), a drive by Adelaide University, Library, Art Gallery & Museum are ideal stops for the history lovers, as is the historic North Adelaide with impressive, age-old buildings and lush gardens. Adelaide botanical gardens and botanic park are great stops for the nature lovers.
*Note bookings are essential for the roof climb and will need to be arranged prior to finalizing your booking.
Wine enthusiasts
You can work your way through the interactive displays of the Wine Discovery Journey Museum (need to allow 30mins to 1 hour for their guided tours) or should the urge strike taste some of 120 wines available at the Wined Bar. Mount Lofty lookout (dependent on weather)

Foodies
Adelaide Central Market is where we can grab a bite to eat as well as experience an abundance of great produce and treats (see just a selection of them below). There is something for everyone!!
The must-see place to visit for any chocolate lover would be Haighs Chocolates – an iconic South Australian business – you’ll get see what all the fuss is about. No doubt leaving with a selection of your favourites.
Depending on what other interests you have, we can 'fill out' your day however you wish.
Family interests
The Adelaide Zoo is a great place to take the 'little' ones ... and yes, the 'big' ones too).
A visit to Haighs Chocolates Visitor Centre is a must for any chocolate lover, and a treat for the 'Mum & Dads' the National Wine Centre of Australia where you can learn all about wine production in South Australia and across the country.
Beachside lovers
Glenelg draws families to its long, sandy beach and the Beach house amusement centre, with waterslides, rides and arcade games keeping the kids entertained. The Bay Discovery Centre in the 1870s Glenelg Town Hall has local history exhibits including a vintage swimwear collection, and dolphin-spotting cruises cast off from nearby Holdfast Marina (must be pre-booked). Here you will find laid-back pubs, organic cafes, global eateries and boutiques which give the area a trendy vibe and is a great ice cream stop to wind up your day.

For those that are keen to see the city streets a guided tour is the best way to see 'all the imporant stuff'.
*Note bookings are essential for the walking tours and will need to be arranged prior to finalizing your booking.

With a pickup at 9:00am from city location, we will then head up to the Adelaide Hills with a stop at Mount Lofty Lookout over 170 meters above sea level giving you a bird's eye view of the city of Adelaide and beyond.

9:30 am If you need a 'coffee fix' before your day begins, we can start off at one of the local coffee shops to grab a coffee & indulge in their homemade treats should you wish.

We will then head up to Cleland Wildlife Park where you can explore the park at your own leisure enjoying some of the amazing wildlife we have in Australia.

From here we head off to Hahndorf German Village is the perfect place to have a look around and enjoy the amazing market stalls from olde lolly shops, leather smiths, handmade Australia sheep skin products, candle shops etc and if you're looking for authentic beer steins this is the place for you! The German village shop is a must see where you will be greeted by the staff in traditional attire where the lederhosen are sure to please.
During this time, you can grab a bite to eat, whether it's the local bakery or cafe. If you're keen on the hotel here you will find the Hahndorf Inn where you can find a choice from schnitzels, Kranskys, wurst platters, sauerkraut and pretzels among other food options, please note that their lunch service finishes at 2.00pm

We can then head up to Beerenberg Farm where you can purchase some of the finest condiments and jams.

Thanks to its rolling hills, the area is graced with low and high altitudes allowing for microclimates to form and produce a variety of flavour profiles and intensities. Best known for white wines they also accommodate for the red wine lover.

With a pickup at 9:00am from city location, we will head up to the small town of Hahndorf known for its original German-style architecture and artisanal food.
9:45 am If you need a 'coffee fix' before your day begins, we can start off at Beerenberg where you can grab a coffee & indulge in their homemade scones and other treats – a sweet tooth lover's dream!
Handorf, is the perfect place to have a look around, enjoy the amazing market stalls and see what the locals have to offer. Here you will find the likes of olde lolly shops, leather smiths, antiques, handmade Australia sheep skin products, boutique fashion shopping, candle shops etc and if you're looking for authentic beer steins. The German village shop is a must see where you will be greeted by the staff in traditional attire where the lederhosen are sure to please.
1:00 pm Keeping with the German theme, Hahndorf Inn is where you can feast on kranski, sauerkraut and pretzels among other food options, so we will stop here for lunch.
Adelaide Hills is celebrated for its crisp and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. The region marked by ancient soils and cool breezes, imparts a unique character to the wines, resulting in a delightful balance of acidity and flavor complexity. If you like we can choose a cellar door close by to do some wine tastings of this region.
But don't let that deter you if you are a red wine lover. There is an abundance of cellar doors to choose from, where we can take you just let us know which ones you'd like to visit.
If time allows, we can take you to Mount Lofty look out which pro­vides spec­tac­u­lar panoram­ic views across Ade­laide’s city sky­line to the coast.
We will then drop you back at your pickup location by 5:00pm
