This is a relaxed, efficient, and self-guided scenic ride, perfect for visitors short on time, such as cruise ship passengers. Departing from the Waitangi wharf, the journey first ascends to a scenic lookout offering breathtaking, panoramic views over the extensive Bay of Islands , where you can see the numerous islands and the harbor. The bikes will be ready for you as soon as you hop off the tender, ready for you to ride up to the Waitangi Forest.

Mandatory Safety Equipment

For the safety of all participants, the use of a safety helmet and a high-visibility reflective vest is mandatory at all times during the scenic ride. Both the helmet and the vest will be provided by the tour operator and must be worn correctly as instructed before the start of the activity.
New Zealand Road Rules

All riders must adhere to New Zealand's traffic laws. This requires that you must cycle on the left-hand side of the road or designated path at all times, maintaining a single-file line. Riders must always follow the instructions of the tour guide, maintain a safe distance from others, and obey all road signage.
