Your journey begins with a collection from your overnight accommodation, transferring you to the water’s edge where the sheer scale of the escarpment truly comes to life. As we glide across the pristine waters of the Blyde Dam, your expert guide will point out the iconic Three Rondavels from a unique vantage point at the base of the cliffs. A major highlight of the cruise is a visit to the Kadishi Tufa waterfall, one of the few "living" waterfalls in the world, which cascades down the ancient rock faces into the dam. Throughout the 90-minute cruise, keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, including hippo, crocodile, and a variety of bird species that frequent the shoreline. This serene experience offers a peaceful yet majestic look at the geological wonders of the Panorama Route before your return transfer.


1) The boat cruise is approximately 90 minutes in duration and follows a fixed schedule; please ensure you are ready for your collection
2) This tour is perfect for all ages.
3) Please note that there is a short but very steep climb from the jetty back to the vehicles. If you will be unable to undertake this climb, please inform us so we can make alternative arrangements in advance.
4) Please note that food is not included, though bottled water is provided in the vehicle. You are welcome to bring your own snacks
5) Life jackets and safety equipment is provided by the operator for all passengers while on the water.

Weather - If the weather is inclement, the operator might cancel the cruise - we will keep you informed if this is the case.

Wear - 1) Normal casual clothing like jeans and t-shirts are appropriate. 2) Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers or sandals are recommended. 3) A warm jacket or windbreaker is recommended in winter. 4) Don’t forget a sunhat or cap and sunglasses as the glare off the water can be bright.

Bring - A camera, hat, sun protection/sunscreen, insect repellant, credit card for any additional purchases, cash for gratuities.
